Grating lay-outs
The drawing below present the recommended spacing to be preserved when designinig and laying the gratings, considering profile egdes,
poles going through the platforms, tubing, walls and siding.
The drawings also show what spacing should be preserved between the graters lying next to each other
(usually spacing is not presented on the technical drawings) . You should also bear in mind that the gratings are produced in negative tolerance (standard +0, -4mm).
Preserving the dimensions recommended above ensures proper design and assembly on platforms.
The width of platform gratings calculation
In order to determine dimensions of gratings, the future load must be defined.
On the basis of tables of permissible load, the possible combination of bearing bar thickness, supports arrangement (mm) and mesh size can be chosen.
To keep down cost of platform gratings production we strongly recommend to use the standard grating’s width B=1000 mm. Repeating module of width B=1000 mm allows
us to cover as large area of the channel or platform as possible.
Only last grid has B different from 1000 mm according to dimensions of platform or channel.
In that way we can avoid situation where manufacturing process is more complicated and additional technological operations need to be done.
Our lay-out plan system reduce such additional costs to minimum and would not makes rising costs of the order.
